Autonomous status
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has awarded Autonomous Status under UGC autonomous colleges scheme, to G.Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology , Kurnool for a period of Ten years from 2018 – 19 to 2027- 28. All the 05 UG Courses – CSE, ECE, EEE, ME, and CE are under Autonomous status along with 04 PG Courses – M.Tech (CSE), M.Tech (DECS), M.Tech (EPS), and MBA.

G.Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi vide letter no F.No. South-Central/1-4271006949/2019/EOA dated 10 April, 2019
Accredited by National Board of Accreditation NBA, New Delhi , for a period of 3 years from 2017-18 to 2019-20 for the following three branches of Engineering:
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The College has been accredited with a CGPA of 3.03 on a four point scale at ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for a period of Six years till 31 December, 2023.
Permanently Affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University
with vide Procds. No.JNTUA/DAAO/A2/Permanent Affiliation/AT/2018-19, dated 03 Oct, 2018. for a period of 3 years from the academic year 2018-19 to 2020-21.
Recognition Under Section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of UGC
G.Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology has been recognized under section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956 vide letter no F. No. 8-93/2016 (CPP-I/C) dated 12 May, 2016 by University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Now the college is under the head “Non-Government Self Financed” Colleges teaching upto Master’s degree to make it eligible to receive central assistance. The college would also be eligible to get grant for all UGC schemes related to teachers and students.
